At Shelley & Pope Dental Practice & Referral Centre we are now taking on patient’s on a private basis. As a fully private practice, we are able to offer a wider range of services and we are committed to providing the highest standard of patient care and support. We offer affordable general dentistry for you and your family including a range of Membership Plans.

‍Please don’t worry if it's been a while since you attended your last dental check-up, we’ve all been guilty of avoiding the dentist chair at some point in our lives! We can carry out a thorough initial examination and get you back on track to great oral health!

Your first appointment

Before your first appointment, there is a little bit of admin' to do so we ask all our new patients to fill out a Medical History Form prior to their appointment. This can be done quickly and easily online.

At your first appointment, you will spend at least 30 minutes with the dentist. They will carry out a complete assessment of your dental and oral health and discuss with you any treatment you may need. The dentist may also take x-rays allowing us to provide you with a bespoke treatment plan.

Regular dental care

As well as brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing, you should visit your dentist regularly, this will allow us to spot any potential problems and we can treat them before they become too big, or costly!

At your routine check-up, you will have a thorough examination of your mouth including jaws, teeth, gums, surrounding areas and oral cancer screening. If your examination reveals the presence of tooth decay, you may also have a filling in the affected tooth.

Our friendly and welcoming team will make you feel at ease and ensure that your dental health is second to none.
